Overview

TotalTrash currently hosts servers and WADs for the online competitive Doom community, including the International Doom League, and ZDDL. We try and focus on providing a high level of service, maximizing connection quality while minimizing lag and packet loss.

History

TotalTrash was started after the original Red Nexus servers went offline. Our primary goal was to add additional quality servers to the ZDaemon community for league play. After a warm reception from many players in the community we decided that TotalTrash was worth sustaining.

Hardware

TotalTrash runs on a C2D E6600 (2.6GHz) machine with 2GB of RAM. Here's a typical 'top' shot:

Physically, TotalTrash is hosted by ColoCrossing, the details being:

• Bandwidth Allocation: 1.5TB/month
• Internal Link: 100Mbps (12.5 MB/s)
• Internet Link: Connected to Level3, nLayer and AT&T

Due to the bandwidth stats being broken, we can't tell you our bandwidth usage, but it's pretty small.

This website and the WAD repository is not located on TotalTrash, rather it is hosted by prgmr.com, in order to keep lag on TotalTrash itself to an absolute minimum.
